In the story below, Bridget shares how she was reunited with her daughter after putting her up for adoption many years ago. It’s truly heartwarming!

My journey started in a little town in Northern New York in 1978. At the age of 17, I became pregnant and had no way to care for a baby. Left without options, I signed the papers and placed my baby girl up for adoption, knowing that I would never see or know anything about her. However, all that changed 33 years later when Becky from www.helpusadopt.org came into my life.
Fast forward three more years to October 2013 when Becky told my story to a friend. Little did I know her friend was a search angel! We spoke on the phone and a week later, I was standing in a parking lot hugging my daughter. She was only 50 minutes away from me the entire time!
Our first Christmas together was everything I had dreamed of. The gift she gave me I will cherish forever, an ALEX AND ANI bangle with the words “What’s For You Will Not Pass You.” That phrase say it all – she is mine and I am her’s. Thank you for letting me share part of my journey!
